Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Our amazing colleague is sadly leaving us for pastures new in New Zealand, which means our fabulously friendly team at Westway Vets in Darlington is looking to recruit a new member.

The ideal candidate needs to be passionate about their work with a desire to offer excellent clinical standards to our expanding client base.

We would ideally like an experienced vet, but we would consider a new graduate. We are an extremely supportive and approachable team, with training to become VetGDP approved underway.

CPD, certificates and other professional qualifications are encouraged and financially supported. We currently have a Medicine certificate holder and other team members working towards certificates in Dermatology and Dentistry.

Some of our facilities include a brand new, high spec ultrasound scanner, endoscopy, x-ray suite including dental radiography, two theatres, three consult rooms and segregated dog, cat and small furry wards.

4 day working week 8.30-6.30 with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8.30-12.30.

We run 15 minute consults between 8.30-10.30 and then 4.30-6.30, with plenty of time for operations, clinical investigations and lunch in between these times.

No Out of Hours.

Well behaved staff pets are welcome companions to your work day!
